The first real clan meet was a success. We had a great turn out and an absolute insane time.
We are all back home now and are very tired from both the journey and the combination of too many beers, pizzas and late nights! Oh but it was all worth it! Thanks to everyone who turned up it really was great being able a face to the voices we have come to know.
I have not had a chance to sort through all the photos yet (ok - I was playing BF2) but here's one pic we needed to get up right away... the group shot! Just a shame me and Alex seem to be a bit cut off in most of these - too many tall people to blame if you ask me!
More pictures to come when I get home from work tonight. Paul and Alex, I will be hassling you 2 for some of your best shots and the same goes for all those who made use of their phone cameras!

You may have noticed the new menu item on the top of the site?
I hope I've not missed anyone off, but if i have give me your Player ID.
There's an issue with the width of the page at present - (we may have to make an alternative template without the side menu on to show more stats).
Update: I've added another template with the right column left off. This seems to sit better

We have decided to suspend our recruiting for the time being - as we currently have over 8 recruits to look after. We need to do this so that we can spend quality time with our initiates and get them through their trials.
We will inform you when we are recruiting again.

 We are pleased to inform you all that the ASY server has been upgraded from a 26 player count to a 32 player count.
At present we are still running with the BF2 BattleRecorder enabled. We will monitor the server to see if this causes too much lag. Having tried it last night there seemed to be no problems

 Battlefield 2 Special Forces an online success

Digital Illusions’ expansion pack Battlefield 2 Special Forces
was launched in the end of November 2005. This was the first product
Electronic Arts sold directly to consumers over the internet.
The test was so successful that the PC game – another expansion
pack to Battlefield 2 – planned for launch during spring 2006 now will
be changed to booster packs to be sold online.

Just a word of warning... don't try to use the application form on the
new members area - it doesn't work! Until we figure out why, please
post any new applications on the forum.
We should really have checked this when we moved hosts, but that's just too much hard work
