The news has not been updated for quite some time now. The forum is still the best place to keep up-to-date with the clans activity.
A good number of us are now enjoying the Left 4 Dead game by Valve.
The mix of FPS, zombies and survivor horror is a great combo for us.
Catch up with Asylum Industries clan online in the Steam Community.

It's a quiet weekend this week on the =ASY= front. Most of the clan are up north for the second offical ASY clan meet. This years event is staged up north and the venues include Sunderland, Washington and Newcastle. I write this on day 3 of the meet and so far there has been a lot of beer consumed. It's great to see the lads from last year again, and also nice to have the oppotunity to meet the other new recruits.
If you're looking to catch any games with us you'll have a hard time. Expect more online 'activity' after Sunday/Monday...

Just a quick word to say that we no longer see Battlefield 2 as our main game, and it's probably been this way for a few months now. BF2 is showing its age, and although most of =ASY= still play it on a regular basis we are still looking for the 'next' best thing.
Those of you wishing to join are still very welcome but we just want to make you aware that this BF2 clan are more of a multi-gaming clan now. Other games we play include:
- ArmA (Armed Assault)
- Supreme Commander
- Pro Evolution Soccer
- GRAW2
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Las Vegas
- World in Conflict
If you have any of these games and are looking for a good bunch to game with then get in touch via our forum or the contact page .
We'll try and update the website's appearance as soon as we can to reflect our diversity.

UK Battlefield Clan Members Wanted !
We are looking to expand our numbers a bit at the moment.
Ideally we're hoping to to gain around half a dozen more clan members to help fill out the ranks.
If you're based in the UK and over the age of 18 years and wish to join a clan for some fun and games then read on.

It's been a while since the last news post but this one is needed to inform everyone that the =ASY= clan are currently hooked on the Project Reality Mini Mod.
So now that you know where we've all been, why not download the mod so you can join us :0)
It's a lot more realistic than vanilla BF2 and some of the jungle maps look a lot better too. Then main pull for this (apart from the fact that it doesn't take 20 bullets to kill a man) is that it is very teamwork focused. You cannot work on your own and squads need to work together to accomplish goals.
Our server rotation shown above has been suspended and is currently running PR until further notice.

Operation Peacekeeper Mod for BF2

A few of us tried out that Operation Peacekeeper mod this afternoon and were very impressed.
View the Official OPK Web Site:
http://www.opkmod.com
It's a mod for BF2 and is up to version OPK 0.15.
It's not ranked, so you won't collect stats while playing it but who cares as it's a whole load of fun.
I've checked on ClanForge and we can actually run it off our own server should we get enough members interested. Could be worth a weekends worth ?
You can download the OPK 0.15 client from Fan Gaming .

The first real clan meet was a success. We had a great turn out and an absolute insane time.
We are all back home now and are very tired from both the journey and the combination of too many beers, pizzas and late nights! Oh but it was all worth it! Thanks to everyone who turned up it really was great being able a face to the voices we have come to know.
I have not had a chance to sort through all the photos yet (ok - I was playing BF2) but here's one pic we needed to get up right away... the group shot! Just a shame me and Alex seem to be a bit cut off in most of these - too many tall people to blame if you ask me!
More pictures to come when I get home from work tonight. Paul and Alex, I will be hassling you 2 for some of your best shots and the same goes for all those who made use of their phone cameras!
